Knee
Liposuction
Knee
Liposuction is
a common feminine surgical procedure performed on the
female ankles. This procedure can have tremendous effects
on a patient’s self confidence. It is one of the few ways
that really gives women an opportunity to have a great
leg line. Knee
liposuction improves the leg
area.
Necessity
The main
reason why people undergo a knee
liposuction is
to improve the look of their legs. This is especially
common among those people, especially women with a bulgy
knee area. It may also be a necessitated by the need to
show off a perfect ankle in shorter cloths like shorts or
miniskirts. Sometimes, genetic factors are the leading
cause for this procedure. This is common in instances
where one has unburnable fats in their ankle area,
leaving surgery as the only way to shed the
fats.
Procedure
Knee
liposuction is
one of the most complicated liposuction procedures. This
procedure employs the use of a cannula (smaller compared
to those used for other liposuction procedures) which is
used to suck out the fat. To achieve this, an incision
into the inner part of a bend knee is made; a cannula is
inserted to suck the fats. This process is generally
monitored to ensure that no excess fats are removed.
During the process, suction takes place only when the leg
is bending whereas doctor observation of suction is only
possible when the leg is stretched.

Knee
Liposuction Restrictions
Although
this procedure reports one of the highest successes of surgery
and recovery in patients, there are several limitations and
complications that follow it. The most popular one is lack of
guarantee that the feet look great. Another limitation is the
fact that knee
liposuction only improves the back of the knee and
the inner part of the knee. It is therefore important to note
that since nothing is done for the top part of the knee and the
outer part of the knee unit, sometimes, the outlook may not be
the best if the patient legs are not so
proportional.
Knee Liposuction side
effects
No major
side effects have been reported in this procedure. The normal
side effects for this procedure are the usual soreness and
discomfort that is associated with most liposuction procedures.
Soreness normally affects the knee area, normally lasting at
least three weeks before normalcy is achieved, although some
patients report a soreness continuation, a month later. Other
side effects like an excessive fat removal, strains and related
injuries have also been reported.
Generally,
this procedure is serious and like any surgery, no definite
results are expected. However,
knee
liposuction is classified generally safe by
most surgeons. It is a worthy method to improve self
esteem and confidence. It should however be used as a
last resort in controlling fat levels when exercise and
diet fail. It is also important to seek medical
observation from a qualified doctor for fitness and the
possible changes. Seeking advice from a counsellor or
close friend may also help one make the right choice
before the operation.
